FAQ

The Orchid Rescue Center at The Guaco Forest Farm, Caletas, Osa, Costa Rica.

The Native Orchid and Epiphyte Rescue Center.

Giant trees or branches frequently fall into and then run down the Agujas River. Just before the salt water kills the incredible amounts of air plants growing on the fallen timber, they are saved and taken to the Native Orchid and Epiphyte Rescue Center, at a rustic home on a breezy jungle hilltop at Big Milpa, adjoining the Agujas River right where the freshwater ends and the salt begins. The center overlooks the fragrant, sweet sounding and gorgeous Birdsong Valley and the green canopy of ancient giants called Jaguar Forest.
