Costa Cetacea

Costa Cetacea Volunteers help us help dolphins, whales, sharks, rays, turtles, corals, springs, rivers and oceans. They need us to document what is happening to the waters with cameras, smartphones, GPS, laptops, internet and you. The leaf on the tree is connected to the dolphin in the sea and we must help the world to understand. Dive in below.

Costa Cetacea Osa Drake Bay Caletas Volunteers

You will stay on a hill in the forest, far from a road, next to beaches, river, creek, waterfalls and springs. You will hear the incredible concert of Birdsong valley every morning. You will learn about biodiversity and bioproductivity, from giant trees to giant tuna. You will help us find dolphins, whales, turtles and more. We will show you how to tell sick coral from healthy. Healthy river plants from contaminated ones. And much more. You will hike, kayak, swim, snorkel, plant, free dive, scamper, climb, crawl and jump through some very cool places.

We ask you help us five or six hours a day or night and the rest of the time is yours to enjoying living in the forest by a river and the sea. We have limited space available, and we only accept select candidates, so it's best to reserve well ahead. Those with addiction problems need not apply, and you will be told to leave if you somehow make it in.  Write us telling us why you would like to volunteer and we will get back to you with complete information on what to expect and what to bring.
